80s girl

Hi there everyone! It's my turn to provide you some inspiration today, and apologies in advance for a slightly less in depth post than usual- i'm really poorly at the moment awaiting tooth extraction (ewww) and doped up on some serious painkillers!

Therefore i've gone with a CAS layout using 1984 throwback - but I have used the 1987 version which cheri did for me at my pleading... if you would like to buy the version I have used please contact cheri !

I used:
copics

amy tangerine DSP
papermania plain coloured paper in pink
MME washi tape
and some chippie embellishments (heart and arrow)
sentiment is stamped with Lawn Fawn Milo alphabet stamps

I hope you enjoy my card and see you all soon when I'm feeling a little more human!

xx

Theresa Inspirational post - Mommy kissing Santa

Todays inspiration is a Christmas card using Karleigh Sue Mommy kissing Santa

This image worked perfectly for me to try my new mistletoe dies and melted beads* (the berries).

* lay pony beads (or other plastic type - trial and error) on a teflon sheet on a baking tray in a medium oven.. apporx 10 mins but times vary - keep an eye on them.. (I plan to go through my jewelry making stash and make as many as possible)

The paper was from my stash and the HoHoHo down the side was from a craft magazine.

For the colouring recipe please check out my blog curbencrafts.blogspot.com

kind regards
Theresa

Lets Get Physical

Lets Get Physical, Physical I can't stop singing that lol!
Today Im sharing a card that I made with the Karleigh Sue digi stamp Work It Baby
Isn't she cool! I think this is going to be a valentines card for my hubby (I'm blushing)
To make my card I started with a blue base card and then matted in red. I then found a gym background on google images and printed it out. I then printed out my image and coloured with copic markers. I cut this baby out and popped her up with double sided foam tape. I found the sentiment on google and thought it was perfect. I added some gems to finish off.
The copic markers that I used are:
E000,E00,E02,E01,Y21,YR21,YR24,B12,B14,RV14,RV17,RV19

Group inspiration

Hello everyone! it's usually NEW RELEASE day today over here at Karleigh Sue,
but this month we are bringing you a group inspiration post using some of the images that have snuck into the store in between the official releases! I hope you like what the team have done, and will head over to check out these images, if you hadn't seen them in store already!

In regards to the store, the ETSY store has now closed, and you can find all the current karleigh sue images over on the new Sellfy store HERE. Unfortunately as yet there is not a cart option but we are hoping they bring it in soon... if you wish to purchase multiple digis and don't want to do it one by one, please contact Cheri with your list, and she will provide you with an invoice!

Dance for your master

I really adore using digis in my journal.  I totally fell in love with this digi when it was released last month and just HAD to play with her Dance for your master.

I had made some backgrounds in a crafting class and that was just the perfect one for this journaling.  I did add some gelatos to the edge just for added fun :)

I colored the image with my copics and you can see a close up here.  I wanted her to be a bit mysterious.... do you think I managed it?!?  If you want more details you can come and see it on my blog here.

I really hope that you have liked my latest inspiration for you.

Hugs

Ahoy Matey

Ahoy Matey! Shiver me timbers this is an awesome digi by Karleigh Sue Designs she is called
Hawt Captain. I thought that I would do something a bit different to a card, so I made a door hanger.
I started with some white card stock and traced a door hanger that I had at home on to it. I then covered it with some wood grain paper from Kaiser craft. I then die cut the hole in the top.
I printed out Hawt Captain and coloured her with copic markers (Im pretty chuffed with my colouring in this project). I then cut her out and popped her up with double sided tape. I added a blackboard speech bubble and embossed ahoy matey in white.
Here are the colours that I chose.
E31,E35,E39,W0,W2,W3,Y00,Y04,Y08,V22,V25,V28,G05,G09,R20,R22,R24,R27,C6,C9,B95,
E000,E00,E01
Heres the link for this awesome image Hawt Captain
